Meet Allison Bazzle
My dream of becoming a reporter was fulfilled shortly after graduation in May 2017. I traded in blue crabs for crawfish. After living in Maryland my entire life, I packed up a U-Haul and moved 20 hours south to Central Louisiana. I’ve been working at KALB-TV in Alexandria for over two years as a multimedia journalist and anchor.
It’s been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. I’ve been able to grow as a reporter covering breaking news, severe weather, all things education, investigative pieces, feel-good features and more. The best part of the job is having the platform to keep the community informed and create real change. I love that no two days are the same and that I’m constantly meeting someone new.
I’m looking for the next chapter in my career, and new stories to tell.
